	This course assumes a basic knowledge of navigation and sailing skills to Day Skipper level. The course teaches theory to the level required to take the Coastal Skipper practical and Yachtmaster examinations. The course will extend and improve your knowledge of navigation, pilotage, tidal calculations, weather and safety at sea. Due to the intensive nature of this course, a degree of pre-course study will be required, full details of which will be forwarded upon receipt of your booking. All course notes and practice charts are provided, although students may be required to purchase some additional publications and instruments (please ask for details) Courses take place in our purpose built classrooms.
