Having completed your Competent Crew Course, or having gained similar experience, the next step is to complete the first theory level.. "Day Skipper"

This course is designed to make the transition from crewing to skippering, and covers basic navigation, pilotage, tidal calculation, nautical terms and rope work.

Our instructors are hand picked for their ability to cover this intensive course. Some precourse study is required, details of which will be forwarded to you on receipt of your booking.

Courses are undertaken within our purpose built classrooms, and all notes and practice charts are supplied. Students may be required to purchase some additional publications and instruments. (please ask for details)
