	The first level in the RYA cruising scheme is the Competent Crew Course. This course is designed to enable you to take part crewing on any yacht, or even to take a yacht on a Mediterranean flotilla holiday. Whilst on the course you will be encouraged to take an active role in running the yacht, carrying out tasks like helming, hoisting sails and even mooring the yacht. During your course, the yacht will leave our home port and cruise around the local area over week ends and further afield along the Coast or occasionally cross channel on longer courses. Prices include accommodation, mooring fees and all meals on board.
